ERPNext Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The ERPNext Technical Support Engineer will join SEKEM Group’s IT team in Az Zaqāzīq, providing on‑site assistance to users of the ERPNext system. The role focuses on troubleshooting, configuration, and continuous improvement of the platform to support business and finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for ERPNext users, handling service tickets and resolving queries promptly.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and document solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and update ERPNext modules, ensuring data integrity through routine checks.
• Assist in the implementation of new features and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with business and finance teams to gather requirements and test system changes.
• Prepare clear user guides, training materials, and conduct user training sessions.
• Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure system performance, security, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve ERP‑related technical issues.
• Planning abilities to prioritize support requests, schedule updates, and manage implementation timelines.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills for interacting with end users.
• Solid understanding of finance processes to support ERPNext financial and accounting modules.
• Relevant experience with ERPNext or similar ERP systems.
• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of databases, basic scripting or programming, and system integration concepts (advantageous).
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.
