Event Sales Manager

About the role

The Event Sales Manager leads the planning, organization, and execution of all events hosted by the hotel, ranging from conferences and weddings to corporate meetings and social gatherings. This role ensures each event delivers a memorable experience for guests while maximizing revenue for the property.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse portfolio of hotel events.
• Consult with clients to capture event requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Develop detailed proposals, cost estimates, timelines, and event plans.
• Collaborate with internal departments and the sales team to secure bookings and negotiate contracts.
• Manage event budgets, forecast costs, track expenses, and produce financial reports.
• Source and negotiate with external suppliers for event services and supplies.
• Oversee logistics including transportation, setup, seating, audio‑visual needs, and guest services.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
• Supervise event staff and conduct post‑event evaluations to gauge client satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners, and represent the hotel at industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event planning and sales within the hospitality sector.
• Strong client‑relationship management and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organizational and budgeting skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver events on time and within budget.
