Execution Specialist – Grains Trading

About the role

Cairo 3A is seeking an Execution Specialist to join its Grain Trading team. You will support sales operations for the purchase and ocean shipment of grains, managing the execution side of the trade cycle from contract follow‑up to vessel chartering and shipment completion.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor grain purchase contracts, ensuring all terms are accurately reflected and fulfilled.
• Support vessel chartering activities, liaising with ship brokers, tracking nominations and loading schedules.
• Coordinate shipment execution with suppliers, shipping agents, surveyors and internal teams.
• Verify shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Quality/Weight Certificates, Letters of Credit) complies with contract terms and Incoterms.
• Track and reconcile shipment quantities, laytime, demurrage/dispatch calculations.
• Maintain contract, shipment and vessel‑position trackers in Excel and prepare regular status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Economics or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in chartering, grain/commodity trading operations or shipping.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple live shipments under pressure.
