About the role
The Executive – Merchandise Allocation ensures that retail stores receive the right stock at the right time to meet sales targets. This role bridges the distribution centre, store teams and demand planning to keep inventory aligned with forecasted demand.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments to stores based on sales projections and store profiles, guaranteeing timely delivery.
- Manage frequent replenishment allocations from the Distribution Center using automated allocation systems.
- Act as liaison between stores and the demand planning team, sharing market feedback and insights.
- Generate and analyse reports on store stock levels, coverage and allocation activities to drive operational efficiency.
- Support the planning process for the market, adhering to category guidelines and stock targets.
- Assist product‑related marketing initiatives, providing performance analysis to meet ROI goals.
- Collaborate with category teams to phase products and brands in and out, maintaining up‑to‑date store assortments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent.
- 1‑2 years of on‑the‑job training or experience in retail merchandising or planning.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
