Export Documentation Specialist – Alexandria

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Export Documentation Specialist to manage and prepare all export shipping documents while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The role involves close coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs authorities and clients to guarantee smooth export operations and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, shipping instructions and export declarations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies and customs brokers to arrange shipments.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Track export shipments and keep clients informed of status.
• Maintain accurate records of export transactions and documentation.
• Resolve documentation discrepancies and shipment issues.
• Communicate with overseas customers and suppliers regarding shipping requirements.
• Support logistics and supply chain operations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in export documentation or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and shipping processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP or shipping management systems.
