Export Lead

About the role

The Export Lead is responsible for handling clinker and cement export sales, ensuring seamless communication, coordination and follow‑up with internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on maximizing profitability, maintaining customer satisfaction and complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety legislation and enforce safe working practices.
• Acquire new export business leads, manage existing customer accounts and maintain strong relationships.
• Process orders, register payments, handle financial guarantees and coordinate with production, finance and other internal teams.
• Formulate and implement export sales strategies to meet targets for each customer.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on projections, forecasts, dispatches, sales and revenue.
• Coordinate export operations with maritime agents, stevedoring companies, inspection firms, vessel crews, port authorities and internal departments.
• Oversee export activities at warehouses and ports (Adabeya, Damietta, Dekheila, Alexandria, Sokhna) and manage vessel loading rates and demurrage issues.

Required profile

• Experience in clinker and cement export sales.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to export operations.
• Strong business development and customer management skills.
• Ability to monitor market trends, competitor activities and export movements.
