Facilities Manager

About the role

Al Arabia Cinema is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with a strong hospitality background to oversee the physical environment of its cinema locations. The role combines hands‑on maintenance leadership with a hotel‑style focus on guest experience, ensuring each venue remains functional, clean, safe and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day operations and preventive/corrective maintenance of auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, F&B areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, elevators, fire systems and other building services to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead housekeeping standards, cleaning schedules and quality inspections across all cinema areas.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors and service providers, evaluating performance and negotiating contracts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and regulatory requirements through regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Prepare and monitor facilities budgets, drive cost‑control initiatives and identify energy‑efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience, preferably in hotels, entertainment or large‑scale customer‑facing operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites, external contractors and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, fire safety, housekeeping and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent English communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
