About the role
The F&B Supervisor will lead the front‑of‑house team at Portaluna, a Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt, ensuring a memorable dining experience that reflects the brand’s vibrant and iconic style. This role combines team leadership, guest service excellence, and operational oversight in a specialty dining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coach wait staff, runners, and related team members to deliver service that aligns with the restaurant’s standards and vision.
- Oversee the guest experience, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring personalized, high‑quality service.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the specialty menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings, and guide the team in providing accurate menu explanations.
- Coordinate daily operations, ensuring organized dining areas, timely order delivery, and seamless collaboration with kitchen and bar teams.
- Drive upselling of premium dishes and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Prepare and submit daily operational reports covering guest feedback, sales data, and staff performance.
Required profile
- Proven experience supervising wait staff in a high‑end restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on team engagement.
- Excellent communication skills for handling guest inquiries and team coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
