Field Engineer – Laptops & Desktops

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Engineer who will deliver on‑site technical support for laptops and desktops. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining hardware and software to meet strict SLA targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face technical assistance at customer sites, resolving end‑user device issues promptly.
• Diagnose and repair complex hardware and software problems on a variety of laptop and desktop models.
• Perform system maintenance tasks such as BIOS updates, firmware upgrades and routine software patching.
• Coordinate the replacement of faulty components and manage spare‑part inventory.
• Plan and execute preventive‑maintenance visits to reduce future failures.
• Document service actions, parts used and resolution status in clear customer reports.
• Represent Click Group on‑site, delivering professional communication and timely service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on field technical support or hardware repair experience.
• HP and/or Lenovo hardware certifications preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently to multiple customer locations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for non‑technical users.
