About the role
LC Waikiki is seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to lead the finance function for its operations in Egypt. You will oversee accounting, tax, treasury, reporting and ERP processes within a fast‑moving retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the finance and accounting unit, ensuring daily records comply with local legislation and internal approvals.
- Prepare and submit periodic tax declarations and coordinate with social security and other governmental bodies.
- Oversee cash and inventory integrations, daily cash handling, bank reconciliations and treasury activities.
- Produce management reports in line with IFRS‑based accounting guidelines and develop financial forecasts, annual budgets and cash‑flow statements.
- Coordinate payment processes, contract administration and legal issues in partnership with the legal team.
- Lead internal, governmental and external audit activities and drive continuous improvement of finance software.
- Train and develop the finance team to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of all responsibilities.
Required profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- 5‑7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in retail.
- Experience working in a matrix organization with reporting lines to both country and HQ finance leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset, result‑oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
