Finance Manager

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Finance Manager to ensure the financial integrity of its operations across three legal entities in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa. Based in Cairo, you will act as a key finance business partner, driving accurate reporting, compliance, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, including accruals, reclassifications and journal entries.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with Group accounting policies and review significant accounting judgments.
• Serve as primary liaison with the Shared Service Centre for Record‑to‑Report, Purchase‑to‑Pay and Invoice‑to‑Cash processes.
• Manage and develop a team of two Finance Analysts, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain full statutory tax compliance in each country and submit all required returns on time.
• Review purchase orders, goods receipts and payroll reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare weekly cash‑flow reports, forecasts and manage funding requests.
• Partner with local and regional leaders to provide analysis for performance management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance finance process efficiency and control.
• Ensure adherence to the Group’s internal control framework (SOX‑PCAOB) and prepare annual statutory financial statements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing month‑end close and financial reporting for multinational entities.
• Strong knowledge of statutory tax requirements (CIT, VAT, WHT) in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance analysts.
• Experience acting as a finance business partner to senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SOX/PCAOB internal control standards.
