Financial Accountant (General Accountant)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Agouza, Giza. The role focuses on day‑to‑day accounting operations, cash management, and ensuring accurate financial records using Odoo ERP.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain all accounting transactions in Odoo ERP.
• Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank transactions and general‑ledger journal entries.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• Manage branch cash, including receipts, payments, petty cash and safe custody.
• Ensure all financial transactions are supported by proper documentation and approvals.
• Reconcile customer, vendor, bank and general‑ledger accounts.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely recording of transactions.
• Assist during internal and external audits and the issuance of financial statements.
• Support VAT, WHT and other tax‑related activities, especially for KSA entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience.
• Mandatory experience with Odoo ERP.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Preferably experienced in event management, media production, advertising, design or digital‑marketing companies.
• Preferably familiar with Saudi Arabian (KSA) accounting standards, VAT and Withholding Tax.
