Financial Controller – Gas Services Business

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead financial controlling activities for the Gas Services business, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting strategic decisions. You will act as the custodian of financial data, collaborating with sales, execution, and management teams to drive insight, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts, coordinating across hub and country organizations.
• Analyze actual performance versus forecasts, identify variances, and present analyses to management.
• Develop dashboards and management reports from SAP data for decision‑making.
• Monitor cost‑center expenditures, ensure financial discipline, and review balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support sales teams with order‑pipeline insights to improve forecast accuracy.
• Drive process improvements to boost productivity, profitability, and efficiency.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial controlling, business controlling, or FP&A.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
• Proven ability to analyze P&L, free cash flow, and net current assets.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of SAP.
• Expertise in IFRS and US GAAP.
• Financial modeling and calculation methodology skills.
