Financial Controller – Real Estate Shared Services

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead financial governance, compliance and integrity for the Real Estate operations of Cairo Festival City. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the full finance function, from accounting policies to month‑end close, and provide high‑quality insights to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own and approve accounting policies and procedures in line with IFRS, Al‑Futtaim standards and real‑estate requirements.
• Act as the primary reference for complex accounting judgments and ensure consistent implementation across all entities.
• Lead impact assessments of new and amended accounting standards.
• Enforce the Al‑Futtaim internal control framework, drive continuous improvement through process redesign, automation and system enhancements.
• Govern finance systems and SAP‑interfaced platforms to maintain data integrity and robust controls.
• Oversee legal entity and SAP entity rationalisation initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, balance‑sheet substantiation and inter‑company accounting.
• Lead consolidation of Cairo Festival City financials and ensure accuracy of divisional reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Al‑Futtaim accounting standards.
• Proven experience in internal controls, financial reporting and month‑end close processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards across multiple entities.
