Financial Planner

About the role

The Financial Planner will support the Finance Manager and Finance Director by delivering accurate budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will play a key part in shaping strategic decisions through insightful financial reporting and scenario modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Conduct profitability analysis and suggest improvements.
• Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
• Create financial models for business scenarios and investment decisions.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with department heads during the budgeting process.
• Assist in cash‑flow forecasting and overall financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and reporting standards.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Corporate Finance.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Professional certifications such as CMA, CFA, ACCA or CPA are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
