Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead the budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes for Schindler’s operations in Egypt, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and delivering timely, accurate financial information to business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor implementation of the company’s business strategy and manage the full planning cycle (rough plan, forecast, budget).
• Ensure all financial reporting is completed on time and meets established standards.
• Analyze deviations from budget and forecasts, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Assess income and expenses by business unit, product line and cost centre, highlighting variances.
• Track large projects using a cost‑to‑come model and maintain the cost‑centre structure.
• Provide managers with up‑to‑date actual figures and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including macro development.
• Proficiency with financial reporting software.
• Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools.
