Fire Protection Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Fire Protection Engineer to join our award‑winning consultancy. The role involves delivering fire protection design, reviews, inspections and supporting fire‑life‑safety (FLS) strategy tasks for projects across the Middle East, Europe and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality fire protection projects on time and within scope.
• Act as the main point of contact for project delivery and client communication.
• Produce fire protection designs, review drawings, conduct inspections and prepare authority submission packages.
• Write fire protection reports and final FLS strategy studies.
• Lead the development of fire protection deliverables and act as project manager for multidisciplinary projects.
• Maintain traceability, version control and compliance with IMS processes.
• Participate in professional development and ensure safe, healthy work practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years experience in fire protection engineering.
• Professional Engineer qualification such as CFPS, FE, NFPA or equivalent.
