Fleet Coordinator – Delivery Operations

About the role

As a Fleet Coordinator you will oversee the daily operations of our delivery fleet, ensuring food orders reach customers on time and with high quality. You will work closely with drivers, monitor vehicle performance, and implement strategies to optimise routes and improve service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise delivery routes to minimise fuel costs while meeting delivery timelines.
• Communicate instructions, updates and support to drivers throughout their shifts.
• Track and analyse delivery performance metrics such as delivery times, customer feedback and driver efficiency.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and safety, coordinating repairs and inspections as needed.
• Resolve delivery‑related issues, including customer complaints, traffic delays or vehicle problems.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, operational challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with customer service, logistics and management teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience, preferably in retail or food & beverage.
• Experience in fleet management or logistics, ideally within the food delivery industry.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make quick decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with fleet management software.
• Experience using GPS systems for route planning and tracking.
