Fleet Specialist

About the role

The Fleet Specialist ensures day‑to‑day visibility and punctuality of the mid‑mile fleet that moves trucks between Breadfast centers. The role supports on‑time deliveries, safety compliance and efficient coordination across warehouses and hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Track and follow up on all active trips using the fleet management system.
• Monitor ground fleet movements, report delays, incidents or route deviations immediately.
• Communicate instructions and resolve issues with drivers and dispatchers.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, fuel refills and readiness, escalating breakdowns quickly.
• Record trip, mileage and performance data, providing daily summaries to the Senior Fleet Specialist.
• Support compliance with transport standards and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to align loading, dispatch and delivery priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in fleet, logistics or transportation operations; mid‑mile experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organized and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive problem‑solver with good communication skills.
