Food Processing Engineer

About the role

The Food Processing Engineer will lead daily production activities, ensuring that manufacturing targets are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards. You will coordinate teams, manage equipment maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set daily, weekly and monthly production objectives and communicate them to staff.
• Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
• Oversee and coach employees to boost productivity.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
• Verify production output against specifications to meet client requirements.
• Submit performance and progress reports to update job orders.
• Identify efficiency issues and propose improvements.
• Train new employees on safe machinery operation and procedural compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related science.
• 1–3 years of experience in food processing or FMCG manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage teams and meet production targets.
