About the role
We are seeking a Foreign Purchasing Specialist to manage international supplier relationships, ensure contract compliance, and support the procurement of materials in line with our strategic goals. The role involves coordinating with finance, logistics, and internal stakeholders to streamline the purchasing process.
Key responsibilities
- Execute category strategies under guidance of strategic category leaders.
- Monitor contract compliance and vendor performance.
- Research industry standards, cost drivers, and supply‑demand trends.
- Source new foreign and local suppliers to improve quality, price, and credit terms.
- Coordinate banking activities, including opening letters of credit.
- Manage order confirmation through arrival notice, supporting suppliers with customs documentation.
- Arrange bookings with the logistics department and review shipping documents.
- Assist logistics in receiving original documents from banks.
- Conduct supplier trials and onboarding.
Required profile
- B.Sc. in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or related logistics functions.
- Excellent English communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
