French‑Speaking Assistant Manager – Issuing Fraud Monitoring

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Assistant Manager to lead the Issuing Fraud Monitoring function. The role ensures that fraud losses stay within the limits set by the business and card schemes, and that monitoring operates 24/7 across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily fraud monitoring operations, ensuring continuous coverage and adherence to the approved fraud policy.
• Manage the fraud monitoring team, track performance, and maintain service‑level agreements with clients.
• Investigate suspicious transactions, take corrective actions, and coordinate recovery of fraud losses.
• Respond to client requests and queries within agreed turnaround times.
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly and monthly fraud MIS reports and escalations to management.
• Develop and roll out training and awareness material for the internal fraud team.
• Conduct quality checks, support audit reviews, and implement scheme best‑practice requirements.
• Plan and optimise the 24/7 staffing schedule based on peak hours and fraud trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fraud monitoring or risk management within an issuing environment.
• Ability to lead a team and drive continuous improvement.
• Fluent French language skills.
• Strong understanding of card‑scheme regulations and compliance.
