Front-End Software Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Front‑End Software Developer to own the user‑facing layer of Fikra, an all‑in‑one operations platform for masjids across the United States. In this hands‑on position you will write code, ship features and take full ownership of the interfaces used daily by community administrators and members.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend features across the Fikra platform using Next.js.
• Translate product requirements and design mock‑ups into responsive, accessible UI components.
• Integrate with backend services built on Fastify and PostgreSQL via Prisma.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code with scalability in mind.
• Participate in code reviews and help define frontend standards.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines and contribute to deployment workflows on Railway.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team across multiple time zones.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON data.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and remote delivery.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own delivery in a remote environment.
