Full Stack Engineer – Cloud & GIS Applications

About the role

Valeo's GISACC centre in Cairo is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build scalable, server‑less applications that support the company's digital transformation. You will work in an agile team, turning business requirements into high‑performance, user‑friendly solutions that impact thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software components.
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, tech‑leads and architects to set priorities, deadlines and delivery road‑maps.
• Implement full‑stack features covering both backend and frontend layers.
• Work closely with infrastructure architects on complex, high‑scale features.
• Identify and promote best‑practice patterns for building robust applications.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving abilities and excellent English communication skills.
• High sense of ownership and responsibility.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, C#, C/C++, Python.
• Database expertise: SQL and NoSQL.
• Web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, REST, Protobuf.
• Front‑end frameworks: AngularJS, Angular, Vue.js, React.
• Cross‑platform development: Flutter.
• Version control: Git.
• CI/CD pipeline concepts.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
