Full-time Cook – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our Food & Beverage team at a leading hotel in Cairo. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and supporting the culinary team to deliver consistent, excellent hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and conduct taste and temperature checks.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Prepare cold dishes, set up and break down work stations, and serve food in proper portions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen, tools, knives and equipment, and ensure appliance temperatures are correct.
• Follow all company safety, security and food‑handling policies, report incidents and complete required training.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate professionally and uphold a clean, professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Food preparation and portioning.
• Food safety and sanitation practices.
