Fundraising & CSR Specialist

About the role

The Fundraising & CSR Specialist will design and implement resource‑mobilisation strategies that secure funding, partnerships and corporate social responsibility collaborations for the organisation’s projects. You will lead market research, donor engagement and proposal development to ensure long‑term sustainability through diversified funding streams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an innovative fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Identify and assess new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate partnerships, INGOs and CSR programmes.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and track progress using CRM or internal systems.
• Conduct market scans and funding‑landscape analysis to spot trends and donor priorities.
• Lead the development of concept notes, full proposals, budgets and supporting documents.
• Coordinate inputs from programme and finance teams to ensure coherent, competitive submissions.
• Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and technical standards.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, business development, CSR engagement or donor relations.
• Proven track record in writing successful proposals for international donors.
• Experience working with corporate CSR departments and private‑sector partners.
• Background in NGOs, development projects, training, employment programmes or youth‑focused initiatives is an advantage.
