GL & Fixed Assets Accountant

About the role

The Accounting professional will manage Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accurate recording, depreciation, and timely payments. This role supports month‑end and year‑end close processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and control the fixed assets register, calculate and post monthly depreciation, and perform periodic physical verification.
• Process asset additions, disposals, and transfers, reconciling records accordingly.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries, review and reconcile GL accounts, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Review vendor invoices, match them with purchase orders and goods receipts, record supplier invoices, reconcile statements and assist in payment runs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–3 years of experience in Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
