Grill Cook

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Grill Cook to deliver consistent, high‑quality food while providing exceptional customer service in a clean and safe environment. You will work primarily on the grill, ensuring each dish meets our standards for taste, appearance, and portion size.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items on the grill according to company recipes.
• Maintain product quality, presentation, and proper portion control.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
• Follow daily menu and prep lists, and manage time effectively.
• Engage with customers, anticipate their needs, and suggest add‑ons.
• Support teammates by jumping in where needed and handling additional projects.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently at an assigned station.
• Strong time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Positive attitude, good communication, and a willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and both full‑time and part‑time schedules.

Required skills

• Basic knife and production skills.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices (FIFO, labeling, serving temperatures).
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques such as braising, sauté, sear, and grill.
• Recipe conversion, measuring, and portion control.
• Serve Safe and Allergen Certification preferred.
