Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead and govern all group‑wide financial reporting, accounting operations, consolidation, budgeting, controls and performance management across multiple countries and business units. This senior position reports to the Group CFO and ensures the accuracy, integrity and compliance of the group’s financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Own the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Manage multi‑company, multi‑country consolidations, eliminate intercompany transactions and reconcile balances.
• Govern the Group Chart of Accounts, accounting policies, procedures and structure changes.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, define the close calendar and monitor performance.
• Oversee the annual budgeting cycle, rolling forecasts, validate assumptions and monitor budget versus actual performance.
• Establish and maintain financial controls, segregation of duties and audit readiness, and manage internal and external audit processes.
• Analyse profitability, margins, cost structures, working capital and operational performance.
• Own the financial architecture within the Odoo ERP, approve configurations and govern master data.
• Report on key performance indicators such as EBITDA, Gross Profit, Net Profit, Working Capital, DSO, DPO and cash conversion cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory); MBA, Finance Master’s or equivalent preferred.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA or ACA) – at least one required.
• 12‑15+ years of finance experience, including 5+ years in a group‑level controller role.
• Proven multi‑country and multi‑company consolidation experience.
• Experience leading ERP implementations and managing large finance teams.
