Hardware Design Team Lead

About the role

Ezz Medical Industries is looking for an experienced Hardware Design Team Lead to drive the development of innovative medical device hardware. The successful candidate will manage a team of engineers, oversee the full product lifecycle, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the hardware design engineering team throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Define hardware architecture and supervise schematic, PCB, and subsystem designs.
• Ensure designs meet technical, quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Review and approve hardware design documents, simulations, and engineering deliverables.
• Conduct hardware risk management analysis in line with medical device standards.
• Identify technical risks, perform failure analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Optimize electrical systems and PCB layouts for EMC compliance and product reliability.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production readiness activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in electrical hardware development for medical devices, automotive, or related industries.
• Proven experience leading hardware development teams.
• Strong project management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with IEC, ISO, and EMC regulatory standards for medical devices.
