Hardware Engineer

About the role

eInfochips, an Arrow company, is a product engineering services firm offering solutions across silicon, hardware, embedded software, applications, industrial design and user interfaces. It is hiring a full-time Hardware Engineer based in Maadi Technology Park, Cairo, within its engineering services business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a requirement definition aligned with the customer.
• Draft schematics and layouts accurately.
• Run test, verification, characterization and documentation according to procedures and standards.
• Manage time estimation of design activities.
• Provide hardware support for new developments and improve existing designs.
• Run and optimize EMC measurements and durability tests as specified.
• Maintain safety, quality, write tests and development documentation.
• Prepare the Bill of Materials efficiently.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
• Experience with board bring-up, functional testing, debugging hardware issues and documenting results.
• Exposure to both digital and analog design.
• Hands-on lab testing experience with common lab tools.

Required skills

• Schematic design, component selection and basic PCB design review (Altium, ORCAD).
• Power electronics fundamentals: DC power systems, switching devices and drivers, power conversion and protection.
• High-speed and multi-layer board design, signal integrity.
• EMI/EMC compliance.
