About the role
Avelabs (an Arrow Company), an automotive software engineering services provider, is looking for a skilled Model-Based Development Engineer in Cairo. The engineer develops models for automotive applications using MATLAB/Simulink and Python, with knowledge of AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
Key responsibilities
- Develop MATLAB/Simulink models to reach target applications
- Design and implement AUTOSAR software components in MATLAB/Simulink
- Maintain clear communication with the System Engineering team
- Modify and migrate existing models for new target applications
- Optimize generated C code and ensure MISRA compliance
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or a related field
- Hands-on experience with BLDC motors and control systems
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging and communication skills
Required skills
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for model-based design and simulation
- Experience with AUTOSAR software components
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards
