About the role
The Head of Account Management will lead the strategy, growth and performance of Talabat’s account portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape high‑level plans while staying hands‑on with day‑to‑day execution, influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Own overall operational and financial performance, driving profitability and sustainable growth.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Identify growth opportunities, set acquisition targets and expand existing accounts.
- Lead on‑ground marketing activities aligned with the broader company strategy.
- Monitor competitor activity and devise positioning strategies.
- Unlock additional revenue streams through non‑commission initiatives such as advertising solutions.
- Lead, coach and scale a high‑performing team, setting clear goals and providing feedback.
- Produce detailed performance reports and ensure accurate data for actionable insights.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Finance and Operations to achieve KPIs.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in sales, account management or operations, preferably in the food delivery or related e‑commerce sector.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing high‑performing teams.
- Strong understanding of food industry dynamics and commercial pricing strategies.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
