About the role

The Head of Department – Retail (Academic) will lead the Retail department at B.TECH Applied Technology School, overseeing program development, implementation, and evaluation. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Cairo, Egypt, and works closely with the school’s leadership team to drive student success and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess curriculum aligned with educational standards.
• Manage faculty and staff, including performance evaluation and professional development.
• Lead department meetings and foster a collaborative, innovative environment.
• Mentor teachers, support their growth, and promote best instructional practices.
• Monitor student outcomes and devise strategies for ongoing improvement.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Experience in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and educational standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking, decision‑making, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Advanced degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an educational leadership role is highly desirable.
