Head of Oracle ERP (Cloud Centre of Excellence)

About the role

Our client, a leading pan‑African telecom and fintech group, is consolidating its operating companies onto a single Oracle Cloud ERP platform. The Head of Oracle ERP will lead the newly created Oracle Cloud Centre of Excellence in Cairo, take ownership of the live multi‑country platform and drive further roll‑outs across eleven markets in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the Oracle Cloud Centre of Excellence – define operating model, service catalogue, governance, KPIs and build the Cairo hub.
• Lead the formal hand‑over from Oracle Consulting, ensure acceptance of deliverables, knowledge transfer and post‑go‑live stabilisation.
• Plan and execute roll‑outs to remaining markets, managing design authority, fit‑gap analysis, data migration, localisation, cut‑over and hyper‑care.
• Operate the platform as a managed service – L2/L3 application support for ERP, SCM, CX and OIC, SLA management, quarterly updates, configuration‑as‑code and controls environment.
• Recruit and develop functional, technical and integration teams across the CoE and secondary delivery locations.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience delivering large‑scale Oracle Cloud ERP programmes.
• Fluent English (required); French strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 35 % across Africa, UAE and Pakistan.
• Based in Cairo, Egypt – hybrid work model.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build capability from scratch.

• Fusion ERP & SCM Analytics.
• FBDI, BI Publisher, OTBI.
• Data migration and validation (≥98 % accuracy).
• Application support (L2/L3) and SLA management.
• Configuration‑as‑code, environment governance and controls (SoD).
