Head Waiter

About the role

The Head Waiter will lead the dining room team at Amphoras Hotels in Sharm El‑Sheikh, ensuring every guest receives a memorable dining experience. This full‑time, on‑site position involves overseeing service flow, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and coordinating closely with kitchen staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule restaurant staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Manage daily food and beverage service, ensuring timely and accurate order delivery.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen personnel to synchronize service and resolve any operational issues.
• Assist in training new team members and developing service procedures.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and dining standards.
• Basic cooking knowledge to facilitate effective interaction with kitchen staff.
• Leadership and organizational skills to manage a team and ensure seamless service.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality or fine‑dining environment.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
