Health and Safety Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Health and Safety Team Leader to join noon’s fast‑growing operations across the Middle East. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, driving safety initiatives, and supporting commercial, engineering and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Document incidents, accidents, observations, PTW, PPE deliveries and produce weekly score‑card reports.
• Liaise with government agencies such as Civil Defense and Occupational Safety & Health.
• Follow up on internal audit findings, rectify violations and conduct regular safety audits.
• Implement, review and audit company HSE systems in line with corporate guidelines.
• Provide safety briefings, coaching, training and toolbox talks to staff and contractors.
• Conduct task‑specific risk assessments and monitor corrective actions.
• Develop and execute emergency management plans, fire drill schedules and mock‑drill exercises.
• Analyse accidents/incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and propose improvement plans.
• Support senior management with technical safety advice and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• NIOSH Specialist certification (Grade A) and completed OSHA, First Aid and Firefighting courses.
• Minimum one year of relevant health‑and‑safety experience.
• Experience interacting with government safety and environmental authorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
