Health Services Coordinator – Aswan

About the role

The Health Services Coordinator will lead the delivery of mobile clinics to underserved populations in Aswan, ensuring refugees, unregistered migrants and vulnerable communities have timely access to primary health care. The role involves close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Egyptian Health Authority, NGOs and local partners to assess needs, develop services and build capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage mobile clinic operations in targeted areas, guaranteeing high‑quality health services.
• Coordinate with MoH, EHA and NGOs to support primary care service delivery and transition clinics to local partners.
• Assess infrastructure, supplies and capacity needs of primary health centres and hospitals.
• Develop and implement SOPs for cash‑for‑health interventions and internal medical case management.
• Plan and oversee cash reimbursement programmes for medical cases, monitoring service quality and risk mitigation.
• Maintain accurate records of clinic activities, needs assessments and capacity‑building interventions.
• Prepare regular analytical reports, case studies and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure partner NGOs implement activities as planned, on schedule and to a high standard.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating mobile health services or primary health care programmes.
• Strong knowledge of the Egyptian health system and experience working with ministries, NGOs and refugee populations.
• Ability to assess health infrastructure, develop SOPs and manage cash‑for‑health programmes.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills, with attention to data accuracy.
• Willingness to travel within Aswan governorate and occasionally to Cairo.
