Heart of House Specialist – Hotel Utility Cleaner

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments, including kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. This full‑time position ensures guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linen, and a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and clean linen, dining ware, and other hotel items.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dish‑washing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens throughout the property.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents, and uphold quality standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, sit, walk for extended periods and reach overhead or below the knees.

Required profile

• No specific education requirement (high school diploma or GED not mandatory).
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or licensing needed.

Required skills

• Operation of dish‑washing machines.
• Use of hand‑wash stations.
• Handling of linen washers and dryers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive movements.
