Hotel Manager – Egypt

About the role

Viking is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the hotel operations aboard its River vessels cruising Egypt. Reporting to the Corporate Operations Manager, you will ensure guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability while upholding Viking’s premium hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire onboard hotel operation in line with company standards.
• Lead, motivate and supervise the front‑office and F&B teams according to the Viking Philosophy.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness, hygiene and order across all public and guest areas.
• Control costs, adhere to budgets and oversee inventory management.
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve complaints and take part in onboard events.
• Schedule crew working hours, days off and vacations, ensuring adequate staffing.

Required profile

• Proven ability to supervise hotel staff and deliver excellent guest service.
• Strong organizational skills for cost control, budgeting and inventory oversight.
• Capability to handle guest complaints and adapt quickly to changing onboard situations.
• Willingness to work on a rotation schedule (90 days on‑board, 14‑21 days off).
