HR Business Partner – Cairo

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic HR Business Partner to join Egis in Cairo, Egypt. In this strategic position you will work closely with business managers and senior leaders to align HR initiatives with organisational objectives and support the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with managers and stakeholders across all levels, acting as the primary HR advisor.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
• Provide guidance on employee‑relations matters, including conflict resolution, labour‑relations support and escalation of complex cases.
• Communicate and implement HR policies, processes and initiatives that drive organisational success.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Egyptian labour‑law changes and industry best practices, translating them into actionable HR strategies.
• Support workforce planning, salary reviews, talent management, employee engagement and well‑being programmes while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Liaise with the Learning & Development team in the MESA region to coordinate training programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable HR advisory role.
• Strong influencing and communication skills with the ability to build credibility at all organisational levels.
• In‑depth knowledge of Egyptian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
