HR Manager – Contracting Industry

About the role

United Trading & Contracting Co. (UTC) seeks an experienced HR Manager to build and lead the human‑resources function at its head office in New Cairo. This hands‑on position requires deep knowledge of the Egyptian contracting sector and the ability to manage both office staff and site‑based labor.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit engineers, technicians, and administrative personnel.
• Administer employment contracts and maintain personnel files in compliance with Egyptian Labor Law.
• Handle social insurance procedures, including Form 1 and Form 6, and coordinate with insurance offices.
• Run monthly payroll for head‑office and site staff, covering daily workers, site allowances, and overtime.
• Develop HR policies, organizational structures, and job descriptions.
• Advise management on labor‑law compliance and disciplinary matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in Egyptian contracting, construction, or infrastructure companies.
• Strong practical knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and social‑insurance processes.
• Proven experience managing payroll for site‑based and blue‑collar labor.
• Fluent Arabic with good English communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement an HR department from the ground up.
