HR Operations Specialist

About the role

The HR Operations Specialist will support Spinneys Egypt’s store HR functions, ensuring accurate payroll processing, attendance tracking, and compliance with labour regulations. The role acts as a bridge between the store, the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team, and the Personnel department to maintain smooth HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and hire candidates to meet store staffing budgets and submit weekly vacancy reports.
• Enter and import attendance and leave data into the HR system and generate required reports.
• Execute monthly payroll closing, adding new hires, processing transfers, and adjusting salary components before forwarding to C&B.
• Coordinate bank account openings with C&B to minimise cash payments.
• Assist C&B with benefits administration, including medical insurance and newborn vouchers.
• Analyse staff cost ratios against sales targets, reporting variances for corrective action.
• Prepare and deliver HR, experience, and bank letters to employees.
• Manage end‑of‑service clearances and final settlement coordination.
• Submit social insurance forms to the relevant offices and track their status.
• Support Personnel in submitting mandatory government reports on schedule.
• Conduct exit interviews, disciplinary investigations, and promotion nomination processes.
• Ensure timely contract renewals in line with labour law.
• Coach store staff on grievance handling and conflict resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced user of Microsoft Office.
