Hub Supervisor – Sorting Center

About the role

The Hub Supervisor oversees daily sorting operations at Bosta’s Cairo sorting center, ensuring parcels are received, processed, and dispatched accurately and on schedule. You will coordinate with team leaders, maintain workflow efficiency, and support the sorting facility manager in meeting operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day workflow activities within assigned areas of the facility.
• Ensure all shipments are scanned, sorted, and dispatched according to operational procedures.
• Monitor team performance, provide on‑the‑spot guidance, and maintain accuracy, speed, and productivity.
• Allocate manpower and assign tasks to balance workload during shifts.
• Conduct end‑of‑shift meetings to review performance, highlight achievements, and discuss issues.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, report them to the facility manager, and recommend improvements.
• Enforce safety and quality standards for all staff.
• Act as the primary point of contact between sorting staff and management during the shift.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hub or warehousing operations, preferably in shipping.
• Very good command of English.
• Proven experience leading and supervising teams.
• High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, analytical, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Professional attitude with proactive, can‑do mindset.
