Infrastructure Construction Manager - Cairo

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for an Infrastructure Construction Manager in Cairo. The role manages and oversees all on-site construction activities within the infrastructure scope, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards. It is the main point of coordination between project stakeholders, subcontractors and site teams, covering roads, utilities and related civil structures.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise infrastructure works according to approved designs, specifications and project plans.
• Manage day-to-day site activities, including manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against the construction schedule and report deviations to management.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, method statements and material submittals.
• Ensure works meet safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with technical, planning, procurement and quality departments and resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Carry out regular site inspections of workmanship, productivity and adherence to specifications.
• Lead site meetings with subcontractors and consultants to review progress and address challenges.
• Manage cost control and resource utilization to stay within budget.
• Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates and key performance metrics to the Project Manager.
• Mentor and guide site engineers and supervisory teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure construction, preferably in large-scale roads, utilities or heavy civil projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multi-discipline interfaces.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations, QA/QC procedures and environmental compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and coordination skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects within strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infrastructure construction processes, sequencing and standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and Primavera.
