Instructional Designer (eLearning)

About the role

Blue Ocean Corporation is seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging digital learning experiences for its B2B and B2C clients. You will work closely with subject‑matter experts and multimedia teams to transform technical content into interactive eLearning modules that drive learner retention and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive eLearning courses, videos, and digital assets using authoring tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs to convert complex material into clear, learner‑friendly modules.
• Create storyboards, scripts, assessments, and interactive exercises aligned with measurable objectives.
• Integrate content into LMS platforms and ensure compliance with SCORM/xAPI standards.
• Apply adult‑learning principles (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to guide design decisions.
• Conduct formative testing, gather learner feedback, and continuously improve content.
• Maintain accessibility (WCAG/ADA) and brand consistency across all learning materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience designing eLearning or corporate training content.
• Strong written communication and visualization abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
