Internal Audit Section Head

About the role

The Internal Audit Section Head will lead the internal audit function for Dakahlia Group, ensuring compliance with policies and driving efficiency across the organization. Reporting to the Audit Manager, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on supervision of audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Define audit scope together with the Audit Manager and plan the audit calendar.
• Allocate audit tasks, supervise auditors and review their work for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct inventory counts, perform variance analysis and oversee related reporting.
• Develop and present audit findings, recommendations and compliance improvement plans to management.
• Prepare timely audit reports, ensuring completeness, validity and alignment with internal standards.
• Maintain internal audit risk registers and control matrices, and develop related KPIs for managerial review.
• Execute and continuously improve internal audit programs and methodologies.
• Perform any additional duties required to meet business needs.

Required profile

• BSc/BA in Accounting or Finance.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in internal audit.
• Preferably pursuing or holding CIA certification.
• Strong experience in audit engagement management, supervision and control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with all organizational levels.
