Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join Al Shawa Trading Company in Mansoura. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, supporting regular counts, and ensuring smooth coordination across purchasing, sales, finance and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record all inventory transactions in the system.
• Conduct periodic, cycle and annual inventory counts.
• Reconcile physical stock with system data and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports and analyse stock movements.
• Identify slow‑moving, obsolete or damaged items and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Finance and Warehouse to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory and warehouse operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
