Investigation Manager

About the role

The Investigation Manager leads the Investigation Team, ensuring high‑quality, accurate and timely investigation reports while managing operational risks. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on coaching to drive performance, productivity and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Investigation Team.
• Monitor team performance against established KPIs and service standards.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of investigation reports.
• Identify operational risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in investigations, field verification, control, risk assessment or a related operational role.
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
• Strong leadership, analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience developing and monitoring performance metrics and service quality standards.
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in banking, micro‑finance, SME, fintech or financial services is highly preferred.
