IT Engineer (On-site, Alexandria)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our Alexandria branch on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves delivering first‑level technical support, managing hardware deployments, and maintaining core network and server infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate first‑level support via phone or remote access, troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Set up and deploy PCs for new employees using standard hardware images and software, and replace components as needed.
• Maintain network servers, including file servers and Active Directory.
• Support LAN, WAN, and Internet connectivity across multiple network segments.
• Manage firewalls and the VoIP system, ensuring reliable communication services.
• Oversee low‑current systems such as CCTV, IP cameras, and fingerprint access control.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficient user of MS Office applications.
• Professional knowledge of CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
• Strong experience managing Microsoft server environments.
• Expertise with VPNs, managed switches, and VoIP systems, particularly Avaya.
